Entry Requirements
- Aged 19 or above
- Ideally have a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training
- Qualified and/or experienced in the subject you intend to teach
- Minimum 100 hours of teaching practice with group learners
- Potential to study at Level 5 (equivalent to 2nd year of a UK undergraduate degree)
- Sufficient literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills to support learners
No formal prior qualifications in English or Maths are required, but a strong personal skill set is expected.
Qualification Structure
To achieve the full diploma, learners must complete 120 credits:
- 4 mandatory units (75 credits)
- Optional units totalling a minimum of 45 credits
- At least 61 credits must be at Level 5
- Minimum of 100 teaching hours and 8 assessed observations
