Course Overview
This Level 7 Diploma is a postgraduate-level programme designed to develop advanced knowledge and strategic management skills for professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector. It focuses on leadership, strategic planning, marketing, tourism policy, and the social and cultural dimensions of tourism, preparing learners to manage complex, global industry challenges.
Entry Requirements
Applicants are typically expected to have:
- A Level 6 qualification or
- A recognised undergraduate degree
- Experienced managers without formal qualifications may be considered subject to interview and demonstrated capability.
- For non-native English speakers, an English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 is required.
Qualification Structure
The qualification consists of 4 mandatory units, each worth 30 credits, for a total of 120 credits:
- Marketing Approaches in Hospitality and Tourism
- Strategic Planning Facets in Hospitality and Tourism
- Tourism Policy in an International Context and Development
- Culture and Society in Tourism
All units must be successfully completed to achieve the diploma.
